When we started planning weddings in 2000, holding  a civil wedding ceremony outdoors was practically unheard of. In recent years however, more and more town halls are granting permission for couples to marry outside in some of the most spectacular locations: gardens, castles with ocean views and charming open courtyards are just a few of the possibilities.  We are delighted with the growing trend and are certain that the list of locations will only increase.  Here are a few of our absolute favorites: Stresa, Baveno, Pallanza and Orta.
